Upcoming Shows: Future, Firefly Music Festival, Leon Bridges

Between the Dirty Sprite 2 album and What a Time to Be Alive, Future’s collaborative project with Drake, Future had the best year ever (in our VH1 voice). We may be R&B stans but we are saved enough to admit that we love to twerk, especially to Future’s music. I mean, if Beyonce can twerk to Future songs, why can’t we? Philly will get the chance to see him live in concert on February 28th at Fillmore Philly during his Purple Reign Tour. Ty Dolla $ign will be opening. Tickets officially go on sale tomorrow. However if you have a Citi credit card or download the Live Nation app, you can purchase your ticket NOW! Click here for more information!

It’s not even 2016 yet but the festival lineups are starting to roll in! Dover, Delaware’s The Firefly Music Festival, one of the largest and most comprehensive music festivals in the area, recently announced the their lineup and we couldn’t be anymore pleased. Tons of favorites will be performing including the return of Blink 182 (remember them?!), the legendary Earth, Wind, & Fire, Ludacris, the “Cha Cha” guy D.R.A.M. (His GAHDAMN EP is a must listen!), Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Fetty Wap, and Vince Staples among tons of others. The festival will take place from June 16 to June 19th. Tickets are available for purchase now!

Lastly, retro R&B newcomer Leon Bridges will be rocking Fillmore Philly on March 6, 2016. Leon is definitely one we need to keep our eye on. His critically acclaimed Coming Home album was recently nominated for a Grammy and he also just performed on Saturday Night Live a couple of weeks back. Tickets for the show are available now.
